Ashalim invests in the training of thousands of professionals who educate, treat and care for children and youth at risk and their families in Israel. These dedicated professionals play a central role in improving the situations of children and youth at risk, and therefore Ashalim is committed to assisting them in their work.
Through Mayda - The Ashalim Center for Knowledge & Learning, we offer a growing number of resources. courses, conferences and seminars, as well as forums where field professionals can share knowledge with their peers. Ashalim also collaborates with leading universities and teachers' colleges in Israel to develop unique academic curriculums that prepare tomorrow's professionals to work with at-risk children, youth and their families. These include bachelors and masters degree programs and courses for teaching and educating students at risk, as well as a joint program for students of nutrition and social work.
